Any education should be scientific for the betterment of the people. Scientific analysis and
judgment is the bedrock of education. Education is not any stuff acquired from outside but
it is the process of uncovering the inner perfection of human being. Swami Vivekananda
told 'Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man'. Science is the method of
enquiring the inner and outer world of human being. So advancement is the watchword of the
science. Science is dynamic and ever progressive. It leads the human minds through ages after ages
and goads the human spirit from lesser truth to higher truth. Science has two dimensions i.e. one is
phenomenal and other is expressional. Phenomenal science is based upon perfect intuition and
perception. Moreover through intuition and perception we can explain and analyze the expression.
So, phenomenal and expressional sciences are interrelated to each other. Phenomenon helps us to
understand any expression and expression reveals another sort of phenomenon. In this way this
duality of science leads human civilization, human aesthetics, human psychology and human
metaphysics to posterity for its fulfillment and ultimate goal. For maintaining life human beings
need food, shelter and some basic amenities of life. These needs are same for all living beings from
unicellular to multi-cellular. But in case of human beings these have different implications
compared to others. All living creatures from unicellular to multi-cellular are searching for all three
things in the universe. But human beings are analyzing and characterizing all these three things. This
analysis, identification and classification are not in the domain of 'Search' but it is rather included in
'Research'. So research is the innate feature of human education.
The college is going to publish Journal of Advanced Scientific Education and Research (JASER),
a peer-reviewed journal from the contributions of the researchers, educationists and scholars
covering the domains like Science, Technology, Education and Language. We are grateful to all of
them for sharing their original thought and research in this journal.
We are also thankful to all who have worked hard for publishing this journal. We are happy to
publish this journal in December, 2020 during the pandemic situation when teaching-learning is
greatly at stake. We hope that the readers will surely derive newer inspirations in life and in research
from this journal.
Swami Kamalasthananda
25th December, 2020
The journey begins for the Journal of Advanced Scientific Education and Research (JASER). It is
launched on this day, on the wings of the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College that
was instituted with the ideals and visions of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sri Saradama and Swami
Vivekananda, with a long cherished desire to develop a suitable canvas to present value based research
outputs. It is imperative to document and disseminate the knowledge(science) gathered through systematic
procedures and with proven results, in any branch of scientific research. This enriches the wisdom and
strongly guides the advancement of study in science. Age old practices of vertical transmission of verbal
traditional knowledge through generations is a treasure trove on the uses and conservation of our natural
resources and much of which are getting erased with the passage of time. Documentation through publication
of these vast knowledge resources is very much necessary not only for their conservation and rational use but
to protect them from their misuse by unscrupulous traders also. Publication of findings of quality original
research work at the earliest is essential to keep abreast the scientific community of the advancements and
breakthrough in scientific research. This also ensures an effective networking among the likeminded workers
across the globe through efficient data exchange. Delay in publication of research findings may lead to
competitive decay of original data generated by the researchers and may also threaten the intellectual
property right of the researchers concerned. A well thought review work, on publication, may prove to be an
asset to the future workers that also helps in finding the valuable gap areas in research.
Contributions from researchers in every field of science including social science from India and abroad are
welcome in JASER, that would provide it a true international hue. This is a peer reviewed, online journal. The
inaugural issue contains a bouquet of multidisciplinary articles. JASER does not support plagiarism and thus
requests the valued contributors to publish their original findings and the review workers to adequately
acknowledge the sources of the secondary date used by them.
Quality research journals support enrichment of knowledge and open new horizons in research. Researchers
from India and abroad would hopefully contribute their findings on the pages of JASER to the entire
satisfaction of its valued readers. JASER would soon achieve the desired rank in the domain of international
journals, through active participation of its learned contributors and the reading community. Suggestions on
improvement in every compartment of JASER is a welcome. Let divine blessings be with JASER.

We are all here shelter under the holy homage of Shree
Ramakrishna Order and maintain our ethics of physical life by the
spiritual inspiration of Swami Vivekananda and his doctrine emblem of
the Ramakrishna Math. The motto inscribed below the emblem is “Tanna
Hamsa Prachodayat” which narrates to One, who is the ultimate Guru will
illumine our path and enlighten us.
Holy Mother always teach us for our success in a gentle
quote “Yapat siddhi”, make sure in our mind, we start to our work emblem
periphery- as a rosary ring with fifty beads. The beads are
representing the seed alphabet of Devavasha, the ancient language of our
Motherland. Among them; eight beads are slightly larger and shows the
major eight directions of our environment, they are the Asthavarga – the
spine of alphabets.
Crossing the path of meditative captivation of our
education and research, we go through the rim of Fire, Sun and Moon, the
basic sources of energy and luminosity. Fire is the first discovery of
Humankind, thus this blazing flame represents knowledge of practice.
At the centre of logo the most famous symbolic diagram
of the thunderbolt which is also very favours of Sister Nivedita- The
Vajra. This represents the purity of knowledge. Here upper part of Vajra
is with close prongs and lower part with open prongs; recite the
harmony of concentration and energised activation of pure knowledge
considerably.
The all knowledge of physical and philosophical thoughts
is here held together by the basement Grand White Lotus; iconography of
Sahasrachakra which derived by our ancestors of the past. At the
central upper front petal the Vindu & Nada also assured us for
continuous resonance of vibration of our work in the far future.
The motto inscribed below the abacus in Devanagari
script: Pavamāna, is an ancient Vedic mantra introduced in the
Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad (1.3.28.). The mantra was originally meant to be
recited during the introductory praise of the Soma sacrifice for
education and knowledge with three major statements-
"asato mā sadgamaya,
tamaso mā jyotirgamaya,
mṛtyormā'mṛtaṃ gamaya."
Finally these all symbolic signs are representing our
department of sciences and education from which our efforts are
encrypted in this education and research journal.
